Harada-san and his team have been developing a VR game for the PS4, entitled Summer Lesson, since 2014. Read the official press release after the break. Bandai Namco revealed through a recent episode of its live streaming show 876 TV that another villain is returning in Project X Zone: Brave New World. VAVA, known as Vile in the West, returns to seek vengeance against Maverick Hunters X and Zero, this time in his MkII form. He will join Sigma, the recurring final boss in the Rockman X series, to antagonize the heroes in the cyberspace world based on Cyber Kujacker's (Cyber Peacock) stage in Rockman X4. The live stream demoed the Original Game Sound Edition of PXZ2, which will be available in Japan at the same time as the standard edition starting November 12. The localized version will be available in America on February 16, 2016, and in Europe on February 19 of the same year.
Here's to hoping that the West gets the same (or at least a similar) edition. And I'm still hoping that Albert Wesker will show up in the game. Bandai Namco has officially revealed the recently leaked characters in the upcoming colossal crossover RPG Project X Zone 2: Brave New World. In addition, they also introduce new villains and non-playable event characters who will appear in the game.
Ingrid (Street Fighter ZERO3 Double Upper) and Ryo Hazuki (Shenmue) join the game as Solo Units along with the returning Estelle (Tales of Vesperia), while Vega/M. Bison (Street Fighter II), Pyron (Vampire/Darkstalkers), Black Hayato (Star Gladiator), Ranmaru (Sakura Wars) and Metal Face (Xenoblade Chronicles) wreak havoc anew with T-elos (Xenosaga) as Rival Units. Also, Ada Wong (Resident Evil 6), Miles Edgeworth/Reiji Mitsurugi (Ace Attorney/Gyakuten Saiban), Tiki (Fire Emblem Awakening), Cardinal Garigliano (Resonance of Fate/End of Eternity) and Tarosuke (Yokai Dochuki) will have their share of the limelight in the game's story. Check out the recently revealed cast's official character artworks, in-game portraits and screenshots after the break. A feature introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 returns in Tekken 7 as the character profile customization option is now available to players of the arcade fighter. Players using Banapassport cards can now replace their fighters' default pre-match profile pictures with jbstyle's special character artworks. In a future update, illustrations by JUNNY, Shunya Yamashita and Tomio Fujisawa will also be available for use. This has been the first and latest Tekken-related update so far since the Summer Fest campaign ended last August. There are yet no news regarding new characters entering the game, but Tekken Project director Katsuhiro Harada said there will be big changes to the game's console version, so the game is still far from complete and more characters might yet be revealed. Three more characters are confirmed to appear in Project X Zone 2: Brave New World after screenshots of the Korean version of the game leaked out recently. Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Jam/Evolution joins the cast along with Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue, and Estellise Sidos Heurassein aka Estelle from Tales of Vesperia makes her return to the much-awaited crossover sequel. Ingrid and Estelle join the game as Solo Units, while it's still unknown whether Ryo will be a Solo Unit as well or he'll be paired with another character, though it's most likely he'll go solo. There is no definite date yet as to when the three characters will be officially introduced. PXZ2 launches in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS on November 12, and in America and Europe on February 16 and 19 next year, respectively.
Listen to J-pop artist marina as she sang the opening theme of Project X Zone 2: Brave New World, "Sekai wa Hitotsu no Butai"(The World is One Stage), to close the Bandai Namco Entertainment Special at the Tokyo Game Show. The video also shows glimpses of the intro animation produced by animation studio Graphinica. Segata Sanshiro (Hiroshi Fujioka) also briefly appeared at the end of the video. Yuzo Koshiro composed the opening theme, as well as the ending theme, "Tsukiakari no Curtain Call" (Moonlight's Curtain Call), while Monolith Soft's Souichiro Morizumi provided the songs' lyrics. It is not yet known whether the songs will be featured in the game's Western versions or not.
