Each costume set is worth $0.75 for either the 3DS or the WiiU and $1.15 for both platforms; the whole costume bundle costs $6 if bought for either platform and $9.20 for both.
Mewtwo strikes back
Those who didn't buy both versions of the game, however, will have to wait until April 28 to be able to play as Mewtwo. The character will be available from the DLC shop for $3.99 for either 3DS or WiiU or $4.99 for both platforms.
Nintendo plans to release Lucas form Earthbound next, scheduling him for a June release.
Meanwhile, here's Mewtwo in action.
DLC character speculations
Ryu's presence in the Smash universe will surely be a welcome one since Street Fighter II was one the best-selling games for the old SNES. I'm concerned about which moves he'll have in his Smash arsenal, though.
What we know this far is that he has his trademark Hadouken and its variations, Shouryuuken and Tatsumaki-senpuukyaku, apart from his Focus Attacks (SFIV), parries (SFIII 3rd Strike), thrust kicks and basic target combos. They seem kinda limited to me, at least, but I'm sure they can work out a set of moves for him.
I can actually imagine Ryu using the Marvel vs. Capcom-esque Shinkuu Hadouken as his Final Smash move.
This doesn't confirm anything, however, since the Redditor was only able to decrypt the 3DS version, not the WiiU one. The sould files could very well be just scrap files that the development team didn't decide on using in the finished product, so I for one am not letting my hopes up on Ryu being in the game.
But hey, one can dream.
