After making his retirement "official" in September of last year, the Studio Ghilbi pioneer revokes his retirement, therefore making his latest film The Wind Rises his ex-last movie.
It was the sixth time that Miyazaki retired and un-retired. The act was probably a publicity stunt he pulled off so his film could garner attention; not that the film needed it, because it has been a fact that any film he directs is an instant masterpiece (Of course, that's just me talking.)
The film was released in Japan last November, and is due for an English release this February.
