Let me tell you why, but first, let's have a flashback.

In that article, the author also quotes Harada-san's earlier re-tweet, dated May 29. Here's where the author went wrong.
Jollibeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I'll consider RT@KunehoKun Harada-san, love your work on Namco's fighting games! Hope you can add Filipino characters

The worse part? ABS-CBN News.com joined the bandwagon.
So did Inquirer.net.
As much as I wanted to express my distaste for ABS-CBN's poor journalism, they don't allow comments; and as far as Inquirer goes, they deleted my comment, putting this disclaimer afterwards:
We reserve the right to exclude comments that we deem to be inconsistent with our editorial standards.
Anyway, as a cameo, I can only imagine seeing the Jollibee logo on a stage in that future Tekken game—something similar to how the Quantum and Timezone logos made their way into the Manila-Bay-based Coastine Sunset stage in tekken Tag Tournament 2—so let's stop imagining what moveset he'll have in the game.

By the way, there is already an existing Filipino character in Tekken.
