Yep, she is the big sister of 3rd Strike's Sean.
The heiress of the "Matsuda-style jiu-jitsu", Laura also employs the power of electricity (much like SF veteran and fellow Brazilian Blanka) in her bone-breaking submission special moves. Her V-Skill, Linear Movement, lets her quickly close in or move out of her opponent's attack range depending on the directional button held at input. She can also make use of the skill's overhead at neutral stance. When her V-Skill, Spark Show, is activated, her Linear Movement is improved, her attacks and throws get more hitstun, and her projectile move Thunder Clap gets more distance.
Check out her gameplay trailer below.
Laura's reveal trailer also actually leaked in advance
The leak ruined producer Yoshinori Ono's chance to troll the SF fans yet again like he did when he teased Cody and Dudley as the next new fighters, but they revealed Rashid and Karin instead. He had planned to tease the familiar electric green beastman before Famitsu spoiled it by mistake.
Ono, who is now in Brazil for BGS, could only express his pain, anguish and disappointment at the leaks via his tweets.
OMG... What? SCEA, THY, too? XO http://t.co/xEZVPkttnm
