Legendary bodybuilder, action film icon, former governor of California and WWE Celebrity Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger will be included in WWE 2K16 as a pre-order bonus playable character.
It isn't clear in the teaser trailer below, but Arnie will appear in the game as two versions of the T-800 Terminator, both from the films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
The Governator has been a longtime WWE fan and has made appearances in some of its events. He appeared on the August 11, 1999 episode of SmackDown! where he had an on-screen mini-feud with Triple H, the same person who would eventually induct him in the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Arnie's appearance as the T-800 in The Game's Terminator-themed entrance at WrestleMania 31 for his match with Sting also served as a means to promote his movie Terminator: Genisys, which showed last month.
The trailer below reimagines an iconic bar scene from T2, featuring several WWE and NXT Superstars and Divas.
End note: This announcement is probably to divert the people's attention from the Hulk Hogan incident, especially since it was also announced that he is no longer appearing in the game. This wasn't the first time that the Hulkster was absent in the series, anyway.
