I do not always remember to post something for "Flashback Fridays" (or Throwback Thursdays", for that matter), since it's not imperative for me to reminisce only those days. It just so happened that it's Friday today and I got the urge to recall something old.
As a gamer, crossovers or "dream matches" are come first in my list my favorites—the likes of Marvel vs. Capcom, Warriors Orochi and Super Smash Bros. So while I'm waiting for Super Smash Bros. 4 to come out, I'm currently re-playing Project X Zone.

Then at a certain moment of reminiscence, I recalled its spiritual predecessor, Namco x Capcom, which came out nine years ago. It's thanks to that game that I got to finally see my favorite fighters Ryu (Capcom's Street Fighter) and Jin Kazama (Namco'sTekken) fighting side by side. I had a bit of difficulty understanding the story since it's Japanese, but the gameplay proved to be easy to learn.
