And so, before I totally lose this free time to talk about all the stuff that I did these past weeks (again), I might as well put them all here in this one entry.
I feel like it's been so long since I wrote a journal here. I had thought of writing a new entry after arriving back home from my trip to Malaysia, but I got preoccupied by a lot of stuff. I think I had a lot in mind I wanted to talk about back then, but I seem to have forgotten all those things thanks to work, no less.
And so, before I totally lose this free time to talk about all the stuff that I did these past weeks (again), I might as well put them all here in this one entry. I was able to attend the Oh No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2 held last Sunday at the SMX Convention Center. I decided to "wreck it" again, after learning that we failed to schedule my driving lessons for that weekend. I wouldn't have gone, however, if someone didn't invite me to.
I was up at 6:30 that Sunday to make the necessary preparations I need to do. I already did my makeup at home so I would only have to do some minor retouches when I arrive at the venue. I arrived at SMX at around 9:30, but the venue was still not open. Good thing I decided not to wear the costume while I was still on the way there. As soon as the hall opened, I still decided not to dress up; instead, I first took a stroll inside the event premises. After long months, I finally got to "wreck it"! (And after a week, I finally got to write about it. LOL) I'm talking about finally cosplaying as Wreck-It Ralph. After seeing the commercials promoting the movie, I said that I'm gonna watch it on its premiere, and ever since I watched that movie, I had this idea to dress up as Ralph. I can relate to him in a handful of ways, that's why I thought portraying him will be a good idea.
And of course, the main reason why I watched the movie in the first place is that a lot of video game characters familiar to me make cameos in it. |
