And as speculated, she indeed hails from the Philippines, and her name is Josie Rizal.
Mad Catz community manager Mark "MarkMan" Julio was a key person in developing the character, as he suggested Josie's name to Harada-san and contributed his personal knowledge of the Filipino culture that helped shaped many of her traits. Mari Shimazaki, the character designer for Platinum Games' Bayonetta, came up with Josie's design. Shimazaki also did the design for the game's final boss--none other than the Mishima matriarch--Kazumi Mishima.
Jin, whose new costume is a nod to his biker gear and hooded training getup in Tekken 3 and 4, respectively, has been previously revealed to be a secret sub-boss, but will become playable starting on March 31. Devil Jin, who retains his Tekken 5 look, is going to be released on April 7.
