"The Demon of Death Valley" will meet "the Mayor of Suplex City" at WWE Summerslam on August 23 when it emanates from Barclays Center in New Jersey. It will be the first time they'll do battle in the ring once again since the day the Deadman had his undefeated WrestleMania streak broken by the Anomaly.
(It's amusing to note that the Undertaker didn't mention anything about Lesnar putting his brother Kane on the shelf by blasting his ankle with the steel steps on the pre-Battleground episode of Raw.)
The Deadman proceeded to issue a challenge to the Conqueror, saying that he will conquer what has yet to be conquered, alluding to the fact that he has yet to defeat Lesnar in a singles contest. He claimed that just like every living thing--be it man or beast--Lesnar will rest in peace.
However, Lesnar 's mouthpiece Heyman, ever the troll, would dare provoke the Phenom anew later that night by incessantly repeating the fact of the legendary streak ending at the Conqueror's hands. The familiar gong sounded and darkness loomed, and the Advocate finally shut up when the Undertaker appeared from behind him after the lights went up. Heyman began to plead for his dear life until Lesnar came running to confront the Deadman. An epic brawl ensued, leaving the audience to chant, "This is awesome!"
Come Summerslam, will the Undertaker finally be able to slay the Beast and avenge his WrestleMania loss, or will the Conqueror take the Deadman to Suplex City and break his soul for good?
Being an Undertaker fan myself, I want the Deadman to win. The Streak must be avenged.
