The Marvel Cinematic Universe made a huge noise at the recently finished San Diego Comic Con. One such noise is the Avengers: Age of Ultron, which comes our way in May 1, 2015. Also, teaser posters that have been gradually revealed have finally assembled into one epic promotional poster, compliments of Ryan Meinerding, Andy Park and Charlie Wen. The poster features the returning Avengers with newcomers Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and the Vision fighting against Ultron (say, Ultrons). click Read More to see the poster and, well, more.
As the San Diego Comic Con trailer for Tekken 7 suggests, the game will be the final chapter in the tragic tale of the Mishima clan.
Kazumi Mishima, Heihachi's wife and mother to Kazuya, is seen monologuing as if she is speaking to someone, asking him to stop Heihachi in her behalf when she meets her fate. Then we are brought to the present, where we see the father and the son face off on top of a raging volcano, with the camera zooming in on Heihachi as he sees a vision of his son transforming into Devil, and then he sees another vision of another Devil entity, who is most likely Kazumi. The next scene goes back in time and practically confirms this fact as Kazumi talks about how the young Kazuya had inherited her powers, alluding to the Devil Gene. She is also aware of Heihachi's own power and fears what he can do to Kazuya and to countless others, so she takes it upon herself to stop the man she loves. ...And it's now in development. It was revealed at San Diego Comic Con that Capcom has given the go signal for the proposed sequel to Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist following the success of the miniseries. Aptly entitled Street Fighter: World Warrior, the story will follow Ryu and Ken in their musha shugyo (warrior's pilgrimage) after parting ways with their master Gouken up to their eventual involvement in the World Warrior tournament, organized by Shadaloo.
Mike Moh, Christian Howard and Joey Ansah will reprise their role as Ryu, Ken and Gouki/Akuma, but not a lot of big details have been revealed about who will play other fan favorites, such as Chun-Li, Sagat, Guile, Zangief and the others. Aside from revealing the big news about the sequel, Ansah, along with Moh and Gaku Space, announced on their offical Facebook fan page that the DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the miniseries will be released in October. The collection includes blooper reels, four deleted scenes and a fifteen-minute epilogue. World Warrior will tentatively be released in late 2015 or early 2016. And it's a wonder how they'll deal with the name issues between Mike Bison, Balrog and Vega. Source: Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist on Facebook For the first time ever in WWE videogame history, "the Icon" Sting finally makes his appearance when he is revealed as the pre-order bonus character for WWE 2K15. And you will get to play as two generations of the Stinger! Check out this vignette aired last Monday night on the latest episode of Raw. The game launches on October 28 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
As previously revealed, Ike and Marth from Fire Emblem will make their return in Super Smash Bros. 4. Now, as revealed in the recent gameplay trailer that went online yesterday, Robin and Lucina will be joining them in the brawl. Chrom also appears in this trailer, where they face the returning Captain Falcon. The final seconds of the trailer reveals that Chrom will be assisting Robin in his Final Smash move, and just like there are opposite-gender variants for the WiiFit Trainer and the Villager, the female Robin can be selected for play. The 3DS version of the game will be released in Japan on September 13, while America and Australia will get it on October 3 and 4, respectively. The WiiU version will come later on the fourth quarter of 2014.
It is now official. Tekken Project director Katsuhiro Harada revealed last weekend at EVO 2014 that they are now working on the seventh canon installment in the Tekken fighting game franchise. While it seems obvious that it will be released for the next-gen consoles, Harada said that they're using the Unreal Engine 4 for the game, making it possible to be ported in current-gen consoles without any hitch. Check out this "unreal" teaser trailer for Tekken 7 featuring the Mishima clan's matriarch, Kazumi! IGN apparently got a copy of the teaser video from Namco Bandai in advance, and the teaser went public earlier than its scheduled reveal at EVO when it went online on AOL. (Maybe the site admins at IGN were just too hyped for the reveal and became too excited, and I can't blame them.) The video has since then been disabled for viewing in the site.
The game is tentatively scheduled for release in 2015. Digital Frontier, the CG movie production company behind the movies Tekken: Blood Vengeance and Resident Evil: Degeneration and Damnation and games like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, has released an official teaser for Comcept's upcoming videogame Mighty No. 9. Yes, it is official, and it looks amazing! It was revealed at Anime Expo that DF reached out to the game's creator, Keiji Inafune, and told him they are pursuing the idea of animated series for the game. The studio will take care of all the funding concerns for the anime project.
The series will make its debut in the second quarter of 2016. |
