After having his name removed from the top billing of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and being banned from attending the recently ended The Game Awards to receive the Best Action Adventure Game award for the game, Kojima is finally gone from Konami, a game company that has been making bad decisions in the eyes of fans as of late.
In a video released on PlayStation's official YouTube channel earlier today, Andrew House, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc., delightedly introduced Kojima, who had just established his new independent development studio today, Kojima Productions. Kojima gleefully declared that he is looking to establish a new videogame franchise when his new company collaborates with PlayStation in their first-ever project that will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
